Erazem or Slovene Globe-Trotting Association, as it is officially called, was established to accommodate the needs of backpacking travellers, many of whom are scholars and students between the ages of 14 and 27. Our agency is situated in the centre of Ljubljana and is a meeting point for Slovene and foreign travellers. Erazem is a non-profit association, run by a group of enthusiastic students who have varied travelling experience and are able to provide first-hand information about many areas.

Our main activities are:

International Discount Cards:

We issue International Student Identity Cards (ISIC), with which students can receive discounts for such things as museums, galleries, transportation tickets, accommodation, and entertainment. FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organizations) offers similar discounts to the ISIC card, and is available to students under the age of 26. Card VIP Backpacker is for those travelling to Australia and New Zealand. It offers discounts for various accommodation and transportation.

Tickets and Travel Equipment, Including:

  • Train Tickets: Many young people choose to travel by train, as it is a safe and cheap way to travel. We offer many kinds of train tickets, including Inter-rail and Euro Domino ticket. Euro Domino tickets allow train travel within one country, while Inter-rail tickets allow travel in multiple European countries.
  • Bus Tickets: Greyhound bus tickets are a well-known and affordable way of travelling in the USA, Canada, and Australia. Erazem is the first agency to provide information and sell these tickets in Slovenia.
  • Ferry Tickets: During the summer Mediterranean ferry tickets are popular, especially between Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Spain, and Malta. Ferry tickets are also available for travelling to Scandinavia and the British Isles.
  • Plane tickets are offered with discounts for students and youth.
  • We also sell travel bags that attach around the waist and neck. The bags are available in various colours.

'Erazem in potepuh'

The project is designed to gather recent information on countries, especially more exotic locations, and add it to existing travel literature. Such information can be useful to travellers in developing countries or countries in transition. We also provide questionnaires for those who wish to share their travel information with others. This information is put on the Internet and can be found on our home page under 'Erazem in potepuh'. This project was prepared in joint connection with the Youth Center of Ljubljana (MOL).
